Cole Nickell – Owner Of ProRoofing
I’d love to introduce myself. My name is Cole Nickell. My wife and I are mid 30’s with two kids in middle school and two in elementary school. She and I met while I was pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies at Covenant College. After a decade of pastoring, earning a Masters degree, and establishing various side businesses, I found a new passion in helping people secure their homes and properties with quality roofing.
I get excited about Jesus, mentoring young people, and business. Since I joke (not really a joke) that my maturity better matches a high school student, I’ve spent the last ten years coaching Ultimate Frisbee at Lambert High School north of Atlanta. Chat with me, and you’ll likely catch a reference from the show, The Office (as I have a very refined sense of humor), or we’ll have a deep convo about how awesome Jesus is. As an aside, part of my story includes that I’m also currently serving on the board for Surf ATL building a 54 acre surf park north of Atlanta next to Lake Lanier.
My absolute favorite part of my job, even more than getting to meet you (which is very awesome for sure), is getting to work with an insanely high caliber team. It’s a family business, my brother (Chad) is our finance manager, dad (Nick) is compliance officer, one brother in law (James) is the VP, and another brother in law (Ben) is a Regional Manager in Alabama. Beyond them, I get to work with my absolute best friends every day, it’s a dream and I love it! I could go on and on about our team and tell you how awesome each person is. I’ve surrounded myself with people better than me and am really grateful for each of them. Together, our mission is to bring professionalism and integrity into the roofing industry.
